I love this time of year. We are in Nashville already (we decided to make the 9 hour trip worth our while and stay for a week) and we are enjoying some good family and friend time. Don’t you think for a second that means that i’m slackin on the blog front- oh no my friends i have lots of fun posts for you this week so make sure to check back. I’m totally in Christmas mode, are you guys? I’m making all my holiday shopping, craft & wish lists and checkin them twice, i’m planning out my december menu and i’m already singing carols in my mind! So today i have a fun little craft that is also functional, a fresh sage wreath.
This fresh sage wreath is pretty simple to make and if you are like me and grew your own herb garden last summer you might have a massive bush of sage that is only going to go to waste if you don’t use it somehow. So i decided to make a kitchen wreath out of it. The cool thing is that after you make the wreath the sage will dry and you can use it just like the crushed dried sage in your cabinet and it will last for a long long time, just pull a leaf or two when you need them and crush them up. Cute and functional! Here are the instructions…
